It took months of planning and organisation by Sidewalk Tango to secure a gig at the Spiegeltent (due to its competitive nature) and to put on a professional and entertaining show. Sidewalk Tango are no strangers to the Spiegeltent , having had performed in it several times in Melbourne.

For those of you who have seen their performances at our Milonga in July, here is your chance to watch an extended version of their show; and for those who missed out last time, here is your opportunity. For those who haven’t been to the Spiegeltent, you are in for a night of wonder and mystique

Champagne Tango Perth first approached Sidewalk Tango in September last year to do a show at the Spiegeltent so that Perth Tangueros and Tangueras can enjoy the sheer entertainment of their act and tango artistry as well as bringing tango to the wider community during the Perth Festival season.

Champagne Tango Perth is planning to bring Sidewalk Tango back to Perth in the second half of the year for another series of workshops and this time, due to requests from our Milongueras, we shall include a class specifically on women’s adornments.
